Kazakhstan national succumbs to mishap injuries

CANACONA:  Two foreign nationals died in two separate incidents at Patnem in the last two days.

In the first incident, a British national drowned off Patnem beach, while in the second incident, a Kazakhstan national succumbed to the injuries he suffered in a self accident at Patnem in Canacona taluka.

Canacona police said that British national Creig Louis Russel (27), drowned when he had gone for swimming in the waters off Patnem beach in the morning hours of Friday. Police said that his body is sent for autopsy and preservation at Hospicio Hospital in Margao.

In the second case,

In the second incident, Kazakhstan national Zhanarys Imashev, aged 28, had met with a self accident at Patnem main road in the morning hours of Thursday and suffered severe head and other injuries. He succumbed to his injuries on Friday evening at Goa Medical College Hospital, Bambolim.

Canacona police said that since both are foreign nationals the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) at Panjim has been intimated of the same, which in turn will inform their respective embassies at Delhi.
