PANJIM: Taking a dig at regional parties, BJP national spokesperson GVL Narsinha Rao said smaller parties want a hung Assembly so they can benefit by trading politics.

Addressing a press conference, Rao said that the politics of trading suits them. “Smaller parties are working only towards creating instability so that they can really benefit from it. That is really not in the interest of Goa. Hence, we are appealing to the people of Goa to vote in large numbers to support us so that there is no possibility of instability. Instability suits smaller political parties it does not people of Goa,” Rao said.

Rao called MGP as the Maximum Grab Party. On post-poll alliance with MGP, he said, “The question of alliance does not arise as we are confident of winning 26 seats. Media surveys and reality on the ground is that we will make a clean sweep not only in Goa but all five states.”
