Konkani Cinema Day PANJIM: Dalgado Konkani Akademi in collaboration with Entertainment Society of Goa will celebrate Konkani Cinema Day “Konkani Cholchitr Dis” on April 24 at 4.30 pm at Marquinez Palace Bulding next to the Old Goa Medical College building, Panjim. Nikhil Desai, Member Secretary of ESG will be the chief guest. Prasad Loyenkar, Director of Art and Culture Department will be the guest of honour. Tomazinho Cardozo, former Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly will preside over the function. Konkani film “Amchem Noxib” will be screened on the occasion. Dance classes at Margao PANJIM; For those with a flair for dancing but don’t known how to move elegantly to the Viennese Waltz, Tango, Jive Cha Cha or Fox Trot, Savio Bruto da Costa will begin new batches from April 24 from 6 pm to 7.30 pm at his home, at Abade Faria Road, Margao. He also teaches traditional and Portuguese dances like the, Mando, Corrodinho, and other Portuguese dances.
