PANJIM: Alex Tigga secured the first spot in men’s open North Goa section of ‘free to shoot netball goals’ for students, teachers and parents organized by Netball Association of Goa to celebrate National Netball Day at Ponda and Chandor netball coaching centers of SAG, Tuesday.

The programme also included exhibition matches with trainees of the centers.

Results of free to shoot netball goals (North Goa) -- Under-14: Pranav Verekar, Sanish Betkikar, Omkar Patil.  Under-16: Omkar Mamlekar, Varun Tipnis, Nehal Ansari. Under-19: Akshadeep Shetye, Sumesh Naik, Shubham Narvekar. Men’s open: Alex Tigga, Rohit Naik, Kishore Oli. Women’s open: Vaishavi Gawade, Beti D’Silva, Synthia Gaonkar.
