VASCO: CAC, Cansaulim humbled Baina Youth Recreation Club 5-1 in GFA’s Mormugao Zone Second Division League at CAC ground, Cansaulim. The  teams were tied 1-1 at the lemon break.

Aliston Monteiro put Cansaulim into the lead in 20th minute but Baina boys equalized almost  immediately through a spot kick conversion by Desterian Fernandes.

CAC trooped in with renewed ideas after the break and slowly began to take control of the proceedings. Midway into the second half, Pango regained their lead with a smart goal and John Colaco consolidated their lead in the 70th minute.

Referee Melwyn D’Costa controlled the proceedings with a firm hand and had no option but to serve the marching orders to Bautista D’Mello of Baina Youth for his second bookable offence and the Cansaulim boys were quick to take advantage of the situation scoring two quick goals through Aliston Colaco.

In a Third Division match, Sateri SC and CDJ Ribandar played a 2-2 draw.
