MARGAO, FEB 28 ? Fr Agnel Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Verna  defeated Kamaxshi Higher Secondary School by 48 runs to make it to the semi-finals of the girls inter higher secondary cricket tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports, at Curchorem grounds.
Batting first, Fr Agnel scored 101 runs in their stipulated 15 overs. For Fr Agnel, Rita Vaz was the top scorer with 26 runs.
In reply, Kamaxshi reached 58 in 15 overs when they exhausted their overs.
Savita Pires was the most successful bowler claiming three wickets for 15 runs while Rita Vaz who dazzled with the bat also claimed two wickets.
