PANJIM: Farrel Furtado today stated that it was wrong to state that she was removed as vice-president of Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) at the meeting in New Delhi, yesterday.

“When I have no role in IHF, how can I be replaced. I resigned from the post of vice-president almost a year ago,” asserted Farrel, who felt that someone was upto some trick.

“Since the formation of Goans Hockey, I am with Hockey India, which is recognised by FIH, the world body controlling hockey, and as such I have no links whatsoever with IHF at all. It is me opting out of IHF.”
