PANJIM: Panjim Veterans will face Conny Enterprises in the final of first all-Goa Veterans football tournament organized by Control Boys Youth Club, Majorda on November 25, at 4.30 p.m.

In the semi-finals, Panjim Veterans got the better of Agassaim Veterans 1-0.

Connie Veterans sailed past Quepem Veterans 1-0.

In the earlier matches, Panjim Veterans edged past Max Veterans 4-3 via the tie-breaker after the match ended 2-2 at full time. Agassaim squeezed past Majorda 5-4 via the tie-breaker. There was no score at full time.

In the inaugural match, Bardez Veterans eased past Lovina Veterans 4-3 via the tie-breaker after the match ended goalless at full time.

The tournament was inaugurated by Fr Mariano, assistant parish priest of Mother of God Church, Majorda. Domnic Carvalho was the guest of honour.
