CALANGUTE: Saipem hammered Remedious 4-1 to move into the final of Candolim inter-ward football tournament organised by Orda Sports Club in aid of Devidas Bicholkar at Dr. Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim, Friday.

Remedious began on a promising note and could have forged ahead in the fifth minute but a Melvyn try kissed the crossbar and went out.   Saipem got their act together and took the lead in the 10^th minute through Mario off a cross from Paul.

Remedious fought back and restored parity in the 18^th minute through Felix off Terence.   

Changing over, Bapu regained the lead for Saipem in the 49^th minute.    Paul increased the lead in the 51^st minute after beating the onrushing Remedious goalkeeper. Bapu completed the tally for Saipem in the 55^th minute.

Saipem will face the winners of the other semi-final between Aradi and Anavaddo.
