Tie-breaker at Curchorem
PANJIM: Guardian Angel Parish Youth Association will organize their all-Goa football tie-breaker tournament on November 19 at Figueiredo ground, Curchorem.
The winners will
receive Rs 6,000 while the runners-up will get Rs 4,000. Details may be obtained from church office on 2650642 or parish priest on 9822587660.
Meanwhile, the inter-parish five-a-side football tournament organized by Parish Youth will be held on November 25 at Figueiredo ground, Curchorem, from 9 a.m.
The tournament will be open to the parishes of South Goa and 16 entries will be accepted on first-come-first-served basis. Those interested may contact Fr James Torres, parish priest on 9822857660 or Fr Mario Dias on 9890858124 by November 20.
Seven-a-side football at Tuem
PANJIM: Dhruv Sports and Cultural Club, Parse will organize their 1st open seven-a-side floodlit football tournament at Katodi ground, Tuem, on Saturday, from 7 p.m.
The winners will receive Rs 10,000 while the runners-up will get Rs 5,000. Individual prizes will also be given. Details may be obtained on 9158106384.

PANJIM: The Riverside Boys of Pomburpa will organize their two-a-side football tie-breaker at church ground, Pomburpa, on Saturday, at 7 p.m.

Athletics Championships at Campal
PANJIM: Goa Masters Athletic Association will hold State Masters Athletic Championships to select the Goa squad for National Championships in Jaipur, on December 9, at Campal ground, here.

U-18 football trials at Mapusa
PANJIM: St Sebastian Sports Club, Mapusa will hold trials to select their under-18 team at Peddem ground, Mapusa, on Sunday, at 4 p.m.

PANJIM: The United Friends of Orlim will organise their all-Goa two-a-side football tie-breaker at Orlim Ramada Road, Orlim, on Saturday, from 10 a.m.
The winners will receive Rs 15,000 while the runners-up will take home Rs 10,000.

PONDA: The SFX Club, Borim will organize their all-Goa five-a-side football tournament behind Indian Overseas Bank Borim, on Sunday, at 9.30 a.m.

Sportsweek take on YBCA
PANJIM: Sportsweek CC will begin their campaign against YBCA from Rajkot in SGVP under-14 cricket tournament on November 18, in Ahmedabad.
Sportsweek will face the winners of the match between SAI (Surat) and Veerani Green CC (Udaipur) in the next round. The team will be accompanied by coach Hemant Angle.
U-14 football trials in Margao
PANJIM: Brasil Futebol Academia and Vasco Sports Club will hold trials to select their under-14 team on November 19 at Chowgule ground, Margao, from 4 p.m. Those born on or after 1/1/1999 may report at the venue by 3.30 p.m. with their kit and birth certificate. BFA technical director Juliano Fontana and head coach Rodrigo Mendes Silva and other academy coaches will conduct the trials.

The winners of the two-a-side tie-breaker will receive Rs 5,000 while the runners-up will get Rs 3,000. Meanwhile, the winners of the under-19 football tournament will receive Rs 4,000 while the runners-up will get Rs 3,000.
