DSYA selection trials

PANJIM: The DSYA will hold trials to select the state kabaddi under-17 girls and under-17 boys teams on November 9 and November 10 respectively at Campal, here, from 9 a.m.

Trials to select the state tennikoit under-19 boys and girls squads will be held on November 9 at sports complex, Fatorda, from 9 a.m.

Trials to select the state squay martial arts under-14, under-17 and under-19 girls and boys teams will be held on November 9 and November 10 respectively at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Fatorda.

Players may report at the respective venues alongwith kit and I-card.

Pre-nat coaching camp

PANJIM: The DSYA will hold a pre-national coaching camp for the selected under-14 boys football probables from November 8 to 22 at village panchayat ground, Nagoa and under-14 girls at Campal, here, from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

Boxing probables

PANJIM: Following are the probables shortlisted by DSYA for the pre-national boxing camp to select the state team for 58^th National School Games boxing under-14 and under-19 boys championships from December 7 to 12 in Burhanpur, MP.

GFA’s managers meet

PANJIM: The Goa Football Association will hold a managers meeting for the of the clubs participating in GFA’s under-18 and under-16 tournaments on November 18 at GFA’s Secretariat, here, at 5.30 p.m. for clubs from Ilhas and Bardez Zones and on November 19 at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, at 4.30 p.m. for clubs from Salcete and Mormugao Zones.

Nine-a-side football at Assonora

PANJIM: The Assonora United Football Club will organize their 1^st all-Goa nine-a-side football tournament from November 11 at Maroda ground, Assonora.

The winners will receive Rs 25,000 and a trophy while the runners-up will get Rs 15,000 plus a trophy. Individual prizes will also be given. Entries may be submitted by November 10. Details may be obtained from Prajyot Arabekar on 9823235395.

Football coaching camp

PANJIM: Sporting Club de Porvorim will organize their football coaching camp for under-12 and under-14 boys of Porvorim from November 10 to 24 at Holy Family ground, Socorro.

Tie-breaker at Vaddem

PANJIM: The Vaddem Boys will organize their floodlit football tie-breaker on November 10 at Vaddem ground, at 7.30 p.m.

The winners will receive Rs 8,000 while the runners-up will get Rs 5,000.

Boys Sports Company induction trials

PANJIM: Boys Sports Company, Madras Engineer Group and Centre, Bangalore-42 will be hold trials for induction into Boys Sports Company in hockey, swimming and boxing from December 3 to 5 at KV Pavilion, opposite Boys Sports Company, New Thom’s Bakery, Bangalore, from 7 a.m.
