U- 9 hockey trials
PANJIM: The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs will conduct selection trials to select the State hockey U-19 boys and girls teams on November 10 at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa from 9 a.m.
Those interested have been
asked to report to Alexander Remedios, hockey coach at Peddem Complex, Mapusa with kit and I-card.
Only those born on or after 1.1.1994 and studying up to Std XII are eligible.
U-14 cricket trials
PANJIM: The Goa Cricket Association will hold selection trials for U-14 boys on November 14 at Panjim Gymkhana ground. Those interested may contact Sudesh Prabhudesai (9422058377) with original birth certificates at 8.30 a.m.
Tie-breaker at Pomburpa
PANJIM: The late Venkatesh (Uday) Halankar two-a-side floodlit tie-breaker football tournament organised by Pomburpa Sports and Cultural Club will be held on November 10 at Pomburpa panchayat ground (near Govt Primary school) from 9.30 p.m. Rs 7000, Rs 5000 and other prizes will be awarded. PANJIM: Manguirish Youth Club under the aegis of Musclemen’s Bodybuilding Association affiliated to Indian Bodybuilders Federation will hold trials to select the squad for Mr India 5th Satish Sagar Classic Bodybuilding Championship to be held on November 24 and 25 at Gokak, Karnataka.
The trials will be held on November 15 at Manguirish Hall, Mangueshi, at 5.30 p.m. Top two bodybuilders from each category will be selected. Details may be obtained from Pascoal Noronha on 9850470714 or Vinayak Naik on 9822154478.
MARGAO: The Goa Bodybuilding Federation will hold trials to select their squad for 5th National Bodybuilding Championship organized by Satish Sagar Limited on November 24 and 25 at Gokak, Belgaum.
Trials for 55kg and above 99kg will be held on November 11 at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, at 10 a.m.
