VASCO: Vaddem Sports Club were held to a 1-1 draw by Young Humorists Club, Baina in Mormugao Zone Third Division League football at CAC ground, Cansaulim, Tuesday.

lang="EN-GB" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; ">In a fast paced encounter, Young Humorists drew first blood with Selwyn Fernandes scoring in the 17^th minute. Vaddem restored parity through Easton D’Costa in the 27^th minute.

In the second half, the teams launched well orchestrated raids but were unable to score the all-important goal.

In Salcete Zone Third Division League football, Chicalim SC trashed Patrong SC 10-1 at Velsao panchayat ground.

Jonathan Fonseca scored four times (seventh, 43^rd   58^th and 72^nd minutes). Nolan Silveira netted thrice (35^th, 50^th and 73^rd minutes), Veer Bepari scored twice (62^nd and 86^th minutes) while Noel D'Mello scored in the 88^th minute for Chicalim. Vithal Naik pulled one back for Patrong.

Cuncolim Union thumped CRC Chinchinim 5-1 at Assolna ground.

Cuncolim forged ahead through Daulat Desai in the 39^th minute. Nilesh Velip scored a hat-trick (51^st, 64^th and 71^st minutes) and Conie Fernandes scored in the 73^rd minute. Salvador Rebello reduced the deficit for Chinchinim in the 75^th minute.

In Ilhas Zone Third Division League football, Batim Youth Club got the better of Siridao SC 2-1 at Batim ground.

Portais SC trounced Nauxim SC 3-0 at Santa Cruz ground. Savio Pereira scored in the 47^th minute while Govind Mahale netted in the 76^th. Atish Madkaikar drove the last into the rival coffin in the 81^st minute.
