Fr Agnel HSS score fluent win over Mount Mary’s HSS

FATORDA: Fr Agnel Higher Secondary School, Verna downed Mount Mary’s HSS, Chinchinim 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the U-19 boys zone inter-higher secondary school football tournament, organised by DSYA, at Astroturf ground, Fatorda, on Monday.
Mount Mary’s strikers Jezwan Cardozo and Melroy Fernandes missed two scoring chances in the sixth and eighth minutes respectively. Minutes later, Mount Mary’s Aaron Carvalho’s shot hit the Fr Agnel side netting and went out of play.
It was Wasim Imandar who netted a brace in the 17th and 48th minutes to make it 2-0 for Fr Agnel.
