I believe that nobody is all bad or all good ~ there are only ‘people’. However, it's often too simplistic to understand this, as we do not wish to understand others. Each one of us is unique; we have strengths and weakness too. I think it is best not to prejudge people. How much better life would be, if we just accepted each other as we are, and just learn to turn a blind eye to the little things we don’t like! We are blind to what is going on in each other’s hearts; nobody really sees anybody, except through the flaws of our own egos, or rather we all see each other in our own reflection.
If nobody can be perfect, surely no one can be all bad either. Even in the worst of humans, we can find some goodness we can relate to and appreciate. How can we be all right or all wrong? We wouldn’t be human if we were faultless. If we can’t love the good in someone or something, we could simply turn away for a moment and try to look for the things we see or love in their life.
We need to remember that everything we do, and everything around us has pros and cons - accordingly we should just cream out the good ones and enjoy them, instead of wasting our time in correcting wrong things. Let’s look at the brighter side of things and make this world a better place through the simplest actions. In fact, we should make our own day brighter by doing something for someone who can’t repay our kindness. We may never know the impact of a little act of kindness, but that impact can create ripples much further than we ever imagined.
Which way are we going? Are we growing towards the good or sliding towards the bad? We all face the same question every minute of every day: “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things” Robert Brault.
