No excise licences to persons with criminal records

PANJIM: As the State approaches the Supreme Court’s (SC) deadline banning the sale of liquor along highways from April 1, the Excise Department – in a fresh decision – has decided not to grant or renew licenses to outlets owned by persons having a criminal record.
