The Fern Kesarval opens

PANJIM: The Fern Hotels and Resorts, one of India’s leading environment-friendly and sensitive hotel chain, announced the launch of The Fern Kesarval Hotel and Spa at Verna Plateau. This is their third venture in Goa, the other two being at Kadamba and Miramar. The opening of Fern Kesarval takes the tally to 57 hotels managed by Fern Hotels. The plan is to expand to 100 hotels by 2020.

Fern Kesarval is a 60-room hotel offering contemporary accommo- dation with multi-cuisine restaurant and bar and other amenities like swimming pool, banquet halls etc.  

Kesarval Gardens will continue to be an independently run wedding venue. 

The hotel management expects good occupancy. “Our Fern Kadamba is doing pretty well and has been averaging over 80 per cent of occupancy per annum. We expect the same at Fern Kesarval too,” said Noshir A Marfatia, senior vice president, sales and Marketing, The Fern.

Lenin Falerio, managing director, Kesarval Motels Holiday Home said, “I am delighted to give my hotel to The Fern group to manage. We have renovated and upgraded the property which will now operate as an eco-sensitive hotel offering our guest great value for their money. The hotel is already established as a venue of choice in this Verna area and with The Fern coming in guests will now experience an even higher level of services and standards.”

Suhail Kannampilly, COO, Fern Hotels said, “The people visiting Goa will now have one more place to experience our eco-friendly hospitality.”
