February 14, Valentine’s Day, is celebrated globally as a holiday of love. The history of Valentine’s Day and its origins have been shrouded in mystery, but it is widely believed to have been established as a way to celebrate the life and legacy of Saint Valentine. St Valentine was known for his acts of kindness and love, particularly towards young couples in love. Goa is popularly a wedding destination on many couples’ bucket lists apart from being a tourist attraction. What’s not to love about Goa? Love is in the air, as it flows with the breeze from its sandy beaches to the houses filled with baked goodies, and the music which makes the couples sway while they indulge in romance, and laughter with their loved ones.
Musicians always love to devote a song or two to their loved ones. May that be inspired by their partner, or be dedicated to them, music is also a love language. Valentine’s day doesn’t signify anything special to him but instead, he says, “I understand Valentine’s day is dedicated to St Valentine’s feast as he preached love but that’s what every religion preaches, so it should be celebrated every day and not just on some saint’s feast.” The couple has been happily married for twelve years now, and ‘Valentine’s Day celebration should be throughout the year, and not for any particular day considered to be special for its celebration’ according to him.

You can do it any time of the year. It should not be obliged to one particular day. Love can always be celebrated throughout the year.”
