A paranormal love story is coming your way. It features noted Goan actress Ester Noronha. Called The Vacant House, she who is the lead actor in the film along with the rest of the cast will now wait as post production work is on in Bengaluru. The film is in Kannada and Konkani. The film, Ester says, is fresh and has a very new approach and narrative. The movie is tentatively scheduled to be released in the second half of 2021.

She said the film was a very experience for her. She said “I could have stuck to my little circle and just been an actress but the prevailing conditions meant we had a tight crew who were very efficient. I spread my wings so to speak and wrote, was the music director, lyricist, costume designer and the Associate Director”.

A multi-talented personality she sang in the song Meu Amor in the smash hit Konkani film Nachom-ia Kumpasar (Let’s dance to the rhythm). Prior to the virus, she had a couple of singles and had other plans on the anvil but everything fell by the wayside. Now with the situation, there were things on the table she was considering but it would take a while. She had starred in the film Kantaar featuring popular Bollywood star Jackie Shroff which had garnered very good response. She said they were getting responses from all over but the virus had decided for them. She said, “Once the situation improves, the movie will be showcased wherever we get people showing the interest”. Born in Bahrain, she said she was open to the idea of screening the film in that country if the Goan community living in the kingdom evinced an interest.
