Goan Culinary Club presents Goan Chefs Conclave 3.0
The third edition of Goan Chefs Conclave at Planet Hollywood will take place on August 7, 2018, from 10 am to 5:30 pm
The Goan Culinary Club, co-founded by Odette and Joe Mascarenhas and its members, brings out the third edition of the Goan Chef Conclave 2018 with the concept of providing the ‘red carpet’ of recognition for chefs this year, in true Hollywood style. The culinary extravaganza with all the ingredients for networking and knowledge sharing will be held at Cinema Paradiso in Planet Hollywood, Utorda on August 7 from 10 am to 5:30 pm.
“This is the third conclave for chefs being organised by our Goan Culinary Club that believes in taking Goan cuisine to the world. A number of chefs, from starred hotels as well as standalone restaurants across Goa, will be in attendance. It will be a day for networking, interaction, learning and most important of all, the fellowship,” said Joe. There will be a number of guest speakers and activities at this event that has emerged as a dynamic and vibrant platform for chefs across Goa to discuss trends, approaches and all that stirs the pot.
ACTIVITIES AT GOAN CHEFS CONCLAVE
Simply South by Chef Chalapathi Rao Voted amongst the top 50 restaurants of India by Conde’ Nast, this authentic South Indian restaurant has been getting ‘great reviews’. Chef Chalapathi Rao (Simply South restaurant) will share his views as well as demonstrate his art.
Super foods of India by Chef Sharad Dewan Chef Sharad Dewan, Regional Director, Food Production of The Park Hotel (India) will explore the exhaustive list of expensive super foods vs Indian substitutes.
Innovation vs Authenticity Jugalbandi by Chef Mahesh Ishwar & Sugraan Chef Mahesh Ishwar (Radisson Blu Resort) and Sugraan will conduct a demonstration and interaction to show how similar ingredients can inspire the modern chef. Here a home styled chef interacts with the professional.
