Jose Roman Fernandes “Timepass” Wins the hearts of audience at TAG’S Competition of Khells

 

TAG organized its 10^th Competition of Fells/Khells (Zomnivoile Khell) from Feb 20-22^th February to 22^nd February, 2021, which was held at Goa Kala Academy’s Open Air Amphi – theatre, Panaji.

All together 8 troupes participated in this competition. This Competition received a good response from the Tiatr lovers. 

 

The Khells which bagged prizes at this 3-day competition are as follows:-

1^st Prize – “Timepass” by Jose Roaman Fernandes

2^nd Prize – “Tumche Upkar” by Luis Xavier Mascarenhas (Xavier

Well known veteran tiatr personalities Mr. Osvi S.C.L.Viegas and Mr. Michael Silva were the judges for the competition.

On the last day one of the prominent personality Shri. Lawry Travasso, was the chief guest and Shri. Pravin Barad, Member Secretary, Kala Academy Goa was the guest of Honour for the function.

Also present there was the President of TAG Shri. Menino Fernandes and Vice President Shri.Mario Menezes. The Judges and the guest gave away the prizes and certificates to the winners. Shri. Cezar D’Mello, Member Secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Smt.Meleeta Rodrigues coordinated in organizing this competition
