Stuti Choral Ensemble and Goa String Ensemble will host its monsoon concert under the baton of their director, Parvesh Java, concert master Eshvita Menezes and pianist Nadine Crasto. The 59 members of the soprano alto tenor and bass choir and 23 member string ensemble will perform in the scenic environs of Raj Bhavan at Our Lady of the Cape Church, Dona Paula on August 13. The same repertoire will be showcased at the Pilar Theological Seminary Auditorium, Pilar, on August 14 at 6.30 pm. The programme on both days will last for one hour without intermission and will include the choruses from the Part II of Handel’s Messiah and other splendid works of Brahms, Samuel Barber and William Byrd. It is a carefully curated programme which promises to enthrall every music lover. This is a free concert but come early to avoid disappointment.

Stuti Choral Ensemble, Goa founded in February 2009, is a group of singers, professionals in various fields bound together by the love for choral music. The aim of Stuti Choral Ensemble, Goa is to promote public performances in various parts of Goa to foster a culture of choral music within the State and also to showcase Goa’s unique musical talent to the world.

The concert at Pilar Theological Seminary Auditorium is free seating on a first-come-first-served basis. Do arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the performance.
