TAG condoles Young Chico’s Death

young Chico left for his heavenly abode on 2nd January 2019, after a brief illness.

Young Chico was born to on 26th January, 1952.He was a lover of Tiatr since his childhood was rightly called the “Man with Golden Voice” who has rendered many Konkani songs in more known for his songs ‘Nouro’ he had a rich voice that listeners usded to long to hear him.

He has sung for artistes of yester years. Topmost directors of tiatr stage namely C. Alvares, M. Boyer, Remmie Colaco, Prem Kumar, Alfred Rose, Bab Peter, Tony Martin, Chris Perry, Kid Boxer, etc. young Chico has sung on several audio cassettes and has produced many of his own.

He was also felicitated by the 125th Anniversary of Tiatr Celebrations Committee and Tiatr Academy Goa his contribution to tiatr.

Young Chico will be remembered as an artiste who made tiatr performances meaningful and brilliant with his professionalism and selfless work.

On behalf of all the tiatr fraternity and tiatr lovers, Tiatr Academy of Goa deeply condoles the death of this great personality and express heartfelt sympathies to his bereaved family and prays that the Almighty may give his soul eternal peace.
