Why ‘divide and

rule’ in India

Someone created this world, and that someone is God. God created many things likewise universe, land, water, trees, animals, birds, human beings. Religions, caste are not made by God, they are made by human beings.

Many years passed from 1947 and so on, there were no fight between religions in India, but now when BJP came to power, there are fights between Hindus, Muslims and Christians across the whole India. Why?

RSS, VHP commands to Muslim and Christians not to eat beef or kill cows, they say cow is mother of nation. As per my knowledge a human being  that is our great Mahatma Gandhiji is the father of nation, so an animal that is a cow, how can it be mother of nation? This is ridiculous, guess you all are illiterate.

One day in Goa our BJP politicians say coconut tree is a grass (to cut the trees and implant a beer factory). Now the same coconut tree is said to be our state tree. See the big U-turn (grass back to tree).

In this world, first the majority nations are Christians, then Muslims, then Buddhists  and then the Hindus. In India majority Hindus attack minority Muslims and Christians because they are in the majority.

So in this world if majority nations attack the minority nation - India, how we will feel? Think on this my RRS, VHP (majority religion) people. This is not fair, this will be not liked by Ram and creator God. So leave all this nonsense and be United, and live as brothers and sisters of one India.

Why victimise

Goa?

It is truly heart rending to learn that a person voted to power should think or even hint at shutting down a precious seaport that is Goa's only deep water outlet to the rest of the world.  This is unthinkable and abhorrent to any true native of Goa.

Mormugao Port is a very safe and natural deep water harbour that can easily accommodate and service massive ocean vessels. Why not convert it into a Sea Container Terminal like Hong Kong or Singapore?  It would benefit Goans tremendously by generating employment in numerous spheres linked directly or even indirectly to the precious industry.

Import and Export by Sea Containers would highly reduce pressure on Mumbai and costs in general could be brought down immensely by connecting rail network to Goa seaport from industrial points in numerous areas of our subcontinent.

Many Goans would return home to their roots with great knowledge to take up employment in the industry.  Mining and coal are highly polluting industries that greatly disfigure and destroy our beautiful and precious land.  The coal handling and storage facilities should be moved out of Goa and to places closer to where coal is actually utilized. Why victimise Goa?

Government

made crisis

You are contracted to transport stolen goods. You do not know they are stolen so you cannot be held responsible for the fact that they are stolen. But at the same time you cannot expect the police to allow the thief to continue to steal just so that you can earn a living. Having said that , mining dependents want a monthly pay package.

How would you ascertain the amount to be paid ? The best way would be for them to submit copies of their tax returns. Have they contributed to the Nation by way of taxes?

If no then why should the tax-payer be burdened with this pay out? Does government guarantee success of business? In future if the tourism industry faces a problem will the government also bail out all those employed in the industry?  This crisis is a government made crisis whose only beneficiary are those that will buy Electoral Bonds!

Putin, the supreme

Russian leader

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expectedly won elections hands down to retain control of his country.  The sixty five-year-old Putin, who has been in command of Russia for eighteen years, is largely hailed in glowing terms, sounding sycophantic at times, with "king" and "emperor".

Putin is credited with arresting the falling apart of Kremlin, through his policies. Russia has been able to hold its own by the broad vision of Putin who has helped the country regain its lost image. The enigmatic Putin is a popular leader though his critics want us to believe otherwise. Russian economy looks fragile but it is no secret that the domestic economy, which was in doldrums at a point in time, has looked up thanks to Putin. However, what we know about Russia is mostly through its global image, and on that front Putin has done well.

Countries which seemed alienated with the "new" Russia after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, and the hitherto sworn enemies of Moscow, are trying to be in the good books of Putin. Despite all global controversies, President Donald Trump's congratulatory call to his counterpart says it all. With Beijing in tow, and the US reeling under Trump,  the world belongs to Putin.
