The prime responsibility of any elected government is the safety and security of the state and its people but the way our own elected government is functioning, it looks like the government is working on behalf of mafias and big corporates. There’s no concern for the sentiments of locals and we as locals have lost our fighting spirit and our elected government is making the best use of it. Though Congress is the single largest party in the Goa Assembly in spite of shifting sides for political powers by Jr. Rane, the behavior of Congress MLAs confirmed their partnership with the present government regarding the total sale of Goa.

With regard to Rane’s statement for the resumption of mining at the earliest, I would say if the mining dependents are really starving to death due to its closure, mining should start now but sadly the resolution been passed not really in the interest of genuine mining dependents but in the best interest of mining mafia and the starvation of MLA’s from the mining areas. Very unfortunate to have politicians who exposed the mining scam when in opposition and doing exactly opposite when in power. Believe me, Goa’s Gods are very strong and they are watching us all. You political class might succeed in getting a central nod to your resolution against the Supreme Court order but resolution related to you already been taken by the one sitting at the top and watching over my Goa.

Thanks to the Portuguese for keeping the option open for Goans to apply for Portuguese nationality because of which many could sincerely earn their living by working in European countries and really they are not going or gone there to die as  said by Sr. Rane in the recently concluded Assembly session. But yes, back home we all know that the political class in power together with almost all the opposition tried to poison us in the name of Formalin and plastic eggs and you all acted dumb and deaf on this major issue except Reginaldo de Curtorim. Rane also said that they are developing Goa by staying back home and people working abroad don’t understand anything. Enough been ruined and looted by the then Rane’s  government and presently the BJP coalition together with people like Rane is all out to sell the beautiful little remains of Goa in the name of PDA’s,reduction of CRZ, coal, Regional Plan and you name it. The common man’s living standard has gone up because of mining as per Rane, so why the hell the SC stopped mining in Goa? Has the SC wrongly exposed the scam of Rs 35000 crores? Is SC judgment supreme? Is there something called as nature? Is it worth living with nature or at the cost of nature? Last but not the least, there is nothing wrong in cleaning toilets and making a sincere living  rather than playing cheap and dirty for the sake of political powers and Goa won’t be surprised even if you do it at this age.
