Defeat Opportunists

Julius Carvalho

As the election dates nears, politicians from some political parties have started jumping like monkeys to tickets for themselves as well as for their chamchas with a sole intension of capturing power in their hands. This is nothing else but clear politic of opportunity where there is no say for common people once they get elected.

In the battle of opportunity where the corrupt and criminally inclined politicians orchestrate so called friendly alliance clearly proves that they least care of the Aam Admi and Goa welfare. But the real players in the political game of one-upmanship are the people of Goa. So the politicians should be apprehensive of their evil deeds and improve before going out to seek votes. In 2012, Goans have proved they are intelligent by rejecting corrupt and family raj. Goans should not get fooled and carried away with the bite of free goodies, Gandhi notes and free chicken. Once again they have to send a message to rogue class of politicians that they have no place in opportunity politics.

The only greatest achievement of present BJP Government is Investment Promotion Board  for the interest of industrialists who tramp aam aadmi under the feet of rogues. The opposition only played a noisy game without knowing what they really need to oppose without an objective to save Goa and Goans. Indeed the last 12 years, Goa was not ruled by any particular party but definitely by all 40 Ali babas. Else the wanton of destruction and corruption taking place in Goa would not have happened.

It is also criminality on the part of parties to take the corrupt politicians into their fold to nominate them with just one aim to get elected and play same dirty tricks on Goans once again. I hope Goans prove once again that they are wise enough to reject the cruel elements standing for election on various parties by jumping like monkeys. Goans does not need opportunist and empty vessels (making noise) like the one in opposition today. Defeating opportunist politician with so called friendly alliance (indeed nexus of evils) as well current corruption promoting Government should be foremost in the mind of Goans when they enter the election booth for their rightful franchise. It should be -- enough is enough to the opportunity politicians; else be prepared to witness another five years of misrule by rogues in Goa.
