Goans in search of a saviour

Goans in search of a saviour

Goans at the moment are at loggerheads of their own making and are struggling to find a way out from the present political mess that we are in. This mess will be difficult to undo unless and until Goans think something out of the box and unite and work hard just the way Goans did during the opinion poll in 1967. All we need is to have foot-soldiers that would dedicate time and energy to select the potential saviours whose visionary ideal visionary ideals shall ultimately shoulder the responsibility. The peoples’ goodwill will be the backbone of his or her ultimate goal to achieve success. And these personalities will be our saviour. The saviour who would deliver us from all the present ills that have plagued our bhangarachem Gõy.

The Goans are facing an unprecedented political crisis and an unpredictable future like never before because those who were given an opportunity and responsibility to govern have failed in their duty and made a mockery of our precious vote. The vote was cast to ensure the welfare of the State and safeguard the interest of every Goan. But they have instead miserably ditched and betrayed the trust we reposed in them. The time is now to say enough is enough and look right in your own backyard who would be likely to turn into our saviour. Leave aside your neighbour’s envy and think if he or she can fit to take on the challenge of contesting coming elections. Show your grit and determination to work towards making our Goa a peaceful place once again, free from dirty politics.

We beseech a true deliverer so that we may have a better tomorrow and bring back the glory once we all enjoyed.

The saviour will have his/her job cut as people across Goa will definitely embrace and look forward to a new beginning. With people’s power at his/her disposal the deliverer or the saviour has to ensure a better tomorrow that will promise us to live and sleep peacefully in our own homes. Tomorrow that will promise us our daily fish curry and rice on our plates. Tomorrow, we will have a place for our children to play, buy and build their own dwelling of at least a hundred sq.meters area.

The saviour should be scrupulous and its team could also be our deliverers who would deliver Goans’ aspirations and salvage whatever is left today of our bhangarachem Gõy. Be it from the North or South, East or West we have to prove that Goa is the best for one and all and not just for the migrants whose votes are illegally sanctified by today’s dirty politicians. They have lost the hope and trust of Goans and hence made their secret plans to bring in the Bhumiputra Bill only to give themselves an edge over other candidates during the next elections but unfortunately it has boomeranged on them and has exposed themselves to their game plan.

It’s time for Goans to reign in the migrants who are hell bent to have their voting cards ready in time, albeit through the courtesy of their protectors.

Goans have already put the present politicians on notice as they are now known as the wholesalers and destructive forces of Goa. Some of them who have not seen the school bench nor the college desk have brazenly marauding Goan’s future. It’s a pity to see that the educated have not made any difference either. The leadership that we see today is nothing but a gang of thieves that work with their selfish motives which has led Goa on the brink of bankruptcy.

Present scenario is such that it looks like we Goans have been held at ransom by those scoundrels and we paid the price by repeatedly voting the same rogues.

Times have changed and so too we need to change ourselves and show them the right way. The only right way is to ignore these morons once for all.

Those who cannot tackle Sonsoddo garbage for decades together don’t deserve any more chance to lead Goa and Goans. Let’s uproot the betrayers en masse before it's too late.

So be prepared to safeguard your vote this time and save it to cast to the right and deserving saviour. The new saviour will have to address the issues dear to Goans’. Let’s stop watching the match fixing game and instead let’s blow our whistle loud and clear to contest against your past candidate if he or she does contest. Remember, that your and my silence will only give them a license to plunder for yet another five years. It’s time to send them back to their lavish bungalows where they can either enjoy or throw away their ill-gotten wealth which they collected over the years.

Let the saviour and his/her team ensure that no land can be sold to outsiders or non-goans anymore. No housing colonies will be allowed in any of our quaint and serene villages.

Goans have to decide and choose the saviour or rather deliverer in every constituency and fight the next coming elections. Come what may, Goa needs a REVOLUTION on the electoral front. Wake up Goa-wake up Goans.”
