PANJIM: Panjim Police on Wednesday booked three people for assaulting and threatening police staff on patrol duty on Tuesday night.

PANJIM: Panjim Police on Wednesday booked three people for assaulting and threatening police staff on patrol duty on Tuesday night. 

Police said an offence has been registered against Summet Sham Megeri (26) of Kamrabhat, Tonca and two others, for abusing the Police with filthy language, assaulting and threatening with the dire consequences.

Police staff on night patrol duty in a control room vehicle in Taleigao intercepted three persons near Vasant Vihar complex. The constable in his complaint said that the three persons first abused them in filthy language and assaulted the Police who were discharging their lawful duties.
