PWD Minister shifted out of ICU

PANJIM: PWD Minister Ramkrishna (Sudin) Dhavalikar was on Wednesday shifted out of the ICU of the hospital in Mumbai, a day after undergoing surgery. Sources said he will return to work after about 45 days of rest, and family members said that the Minister is stable and responding well to the treatment.

A couple of tests have been done on the minister, reports of which are awaited. Sudin’s brother Dr Sandeep Dhavalikar, who accompanied the minister to Mumbai, had on Tuesday said.

“He has undergone a surgery and is recovering well. All are sincerely requested not to speculate about his health. We are sure that the blessings of Goan people are with him and he is expected to be back to work in few days.”
