PANJIM: PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar on Thursday said the enquiry into the work orders given by his department between 2013-2018 under Sudin Dhavalikar, to find out illegalities, will be completed by August end.

He said the affairs of his predecessor Dhavalikar are being investigated by the department as many of the works which are tendered are left incomplete causing inconvenience to the people.

The minister said action would also be initiated against the former Minister, if his role in illegalities surfaces during the enquiry.  “I don’t say that my officers are corrupt or inefficient. But if they are found to be involved in illegalities, action would be initiate against them,” he said.

Pauskar said all the files pertaining to the works tendered during 2013-18 are investigated after it was found that several of the projects were left incomplete.
