Vasco: Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant posted on his Twitter account that around 200 seafarers have boarded a flight from Italy, which is likely to arrive in Goa on Friday morning.
"200 Goan seafarers have boarded a flight from Rome and will arrive at Dabolim Airport tomorrow morning. Our efforts to bring home Goans stranded across the globe continues,” read his tweet.
Earlier, on May 20, three flights came to Goa on from Italy carrying over 400 Goan seafarers.
Meanwhile on Thursday evening, the 40th relief flight B773 of ROSSIYA to St Petersburg departed from Goa Airport, carrying 349 adult and 8 infants ensuring all protocols.
“Team Goa has bid farewell to 8042 adults/89 infants across Globe" Goa Airport tweeted, while commenting about their overall efforts.
