MARGAO: The Colva Police on Thursday arrested three persons for stealing music equipment and posting the same for sale online.
Jonathan, a resident from Azossim, registered a complaint of theft at Colva Police Station. He stated that his bag carrying musical instruments from stolen from his car when he had visited Colva Beach. Later, these items were hosted on for online sale.
Immediately, a case was registered and investigation was on. Based on technical analysis, three accused persons were arrested and a bag (black colour) containing musical instruments worth Rs 98,000 was recovered.
The alleged accused persons namely are Anil Wagela (25), of Chinchalwada-Margao but presently residing at Shirodem, Navelim; Kishan Chitroda (26), Davorlim-Margao and Mahesh Jamuni (21) of Khareband-Margao but presently residing at Sukubhat, Seraulim.
