VASCO: Around four staff members of the Vasco Railway Police Station tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
With four staffers testing positive for the virus, the Railway Police Station office premises was taken up for sanitisation as the other personnel had sit out in the open to perform their duties on Wednesday.
According to reliable sources, of the 33 personnel, four railway staff tested positive for the virus on Wednesday. A staffer, who had gone for testing, was found positive for COVID-19. Later, as a precautionary measure, all railway police staffers were tested and three more tested positive for the virus.
Sources informed that initially, there was a scare among the police staff after some of their colleagues tested positive. The remaining staffers decided to sit outside the police station with the fear of getting infected.
