PANJIM: The State recorded seven deaths of COVID-19 patients, 309 new cases and 425 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
With good number of daily recoveries, the total active cases have further dropped from 3,950 on Friday to 3,827, on Saturday. The Health Bulletin released by the Health Department on Saturday states that the total confirmed cases stand at 40,400 whereas the total recoveries are 36,035.
Likewise, the total deaths are 538. Out of seven deaths on Saturday, six were at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim and one at ESI hospital. Two of these are from Sindhudurg, Maharashtra who received treatment at GMC.
