PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party leaders Nonu Naik and Vishnu Naik held 'Parivartan Yatra' campaign in Priol and Siolim respectively on Monday along with other AAP leaders.
While addressing thousands of people at Devki Krishna temple in Marcela, Nonu said, "With the blessings of Lord Devki Krishna, we have started a Parivartan Yatra in Priol constituency from Marcela. The candidate representing Priol constituency never got a chance to stand again for the third time. Thus, 2022 will be the year of the AAP and Priol will undergo change".
"There are a lot of issues faced by the people of Priol constituency. Priol constituency has not experienced political or social change and the present and the former MLA never worked on this. Both the MLAs were engaged to instigate quarrel among the people. I am confident that this time AAP will win the election", he added.
At Siolim, Vishnu said, "In the past 60 years, Goans have voted for both the Congress and the BJP. Neither party has provided the Goans with basic amenities such as electricity, water supply, or employment. The people, however, kept voting them. Therefore, both parties have taken the people for granted. That is the reason they only show up three months before an election and disappear once they are elected".
