MARGAO: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a new initiative rope in volunteers for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections and it is hoping to get the local youth involved in the campaign this time around.

AAP had put up banners all over South Goa promoting its candidate Elvis Gomes with his photograph prominently displayed on them. However, there was a mobile number also given on the banner asking people to give a missed call to it.

Now that the code of conduct has come into force, AAP volunteers are calling up all the numbers that had given the missed call and talking to them about the Lok Sabha elections and also explaining to them what AAP is all about and how it changed the administration in Delhi and finally asks the person whether he or she would like to volunteer to help the party.

Richard de Sa a volunteer of the party from Curtorim has apparently been given the responsibility of calling up all the numbers and speaking to them.
