MAPUSA: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to contest in all the three constituencies that are going for by-polls in the State and has also finalised its candidates.

AAP General Secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar informed that they got a nod to participate in the by-elections from the Convenor of the party, Arvind Kejriwal. He also claimed that his party would win all the three seats as it has a strong base in those areas.

“We are contesting in the three constituencies where the by-polls are going to be held. We have finalised our candidates for Mapusa and Shiroda, but are yet to decide on the Mandrem candidate,” Padgaonkar said.

Earlier, AAP announced its candidates for the two Lok Sabha seats in the State.  Former bureaucrat Elvis Gomes will contest from South Goa while Padgaonkar will contest from North Goa.
