Margao: A high-level inspection was carried out of the accident-prone zone road between Jackniband junction to Navelim junction.

The inspection was carried out on Friday by the Collector, PWD, DySP traffic, Navelim MLA and panchayat officials. The road stretch is about 1.2 kms and the total works including land acquisition is estimated to cost  Rs 20.5 crore. 

The public and locals have been demanding repairs of the road to prevent the rate of accidents.
