MARGAO: Adv Anacleto Viegas, the lawyer for the All Goa Private Property Shack Owners Association, has lodged a complaint against Alexio Arnolfo Pereira for allegedly abusing and threatening him. 

Aleixo Pereira is the petitioner in the case being heard at National Green Tribunal against private property shacks. Adv Viegas has demanded action under Section 500, 504, 506 and under the IT Act against Pereira. 

Adv Anacleto said, “I am alarmed of these threats and request that immediate action be taken against Alexio Arnolfo Pereira for his attacking behaviour, threats and intimidation.”

Dharmesh Saglani, the president of All Goa Private Property Shack Owners Association, has criticised the alleged ill moves and threats of Pereira and has demanded action against him. 

Adv Anacleto said that when he had gone to Pune to attend a hearing at the NGT, on April 25, wherein after completing arguments all of a sudden, just outside the courtroom Pereira rushed towards him and abused him by calling names and threatened him with physical injury.
