PANJIM: One of many Chimbel IT-Park protesters, Rama Kankonkar, against whom a case of molestation was filed at Agassaim police station, was granted anticipatory bail by the Sessions Court, on Thursday.  

This month, the Agassaim police had booked a case of molestation and other charges against the activist and 30 others. The woman complainant had alleged that a group of Mandur villagers had entered the property of floating cottages project in Mandur, threatened and misbehaved with her.  The locals had alleged that the project was being carried out by flouting several rules.
