MARGAO: Fatorda Police on Thursday filed a charge sheet against all the alleged accused in connection with an attempt to murder case of alleged history-sheeter Anwar Shaikh.
Fatorda Police Station Police Inspector Kapil Nayak informed that a charge sheet has been filed against Vipol Pattairi, Vijay Karbotkar, Harshvardhan Sawal, Mahendra Tanawade, Sudhan Da Costa, Ricky Hornekar, Vallay D’Souza and Imran Bepari. Two hundred pages charge sheet citing 28 witnesses is filed before the JMFC, Margao.
As per the complaint filed by Anwar that on February 16 at Arlem Junction, Raia all accused formed an unlawful assembly with intent to commit his murder over the issue of the previous enmity. On the investigation, Fatorda Police had arrested all the accused.
