CANACONA: Miscreants set fire to the area surrounding Hindu crematorium at Dapot in Loliem on Saturday night.

Social activist Vishant Prabhu providing details of the incident informed Herald that the area in front of the Hindu Crematorium was set on fire on Saturday night and this is third consecutive year that this area has been set on fire by miscreants.

“This plateau is rich in biodiversity and setting fire to the grass here is destroying the flora and fauna of this place since last three years,” Prabhu claimed.
