Advises Bahujans not to become slaves of Dhavalikar brothers and urges them to expel the duo from party

PONDA: Reacting to the expulsion of former Ponda MLA Lavoo Mamledar for six years from MGP for alleged anti-party activities, Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude said that he condemns MGP leadership for the same.

He said that Mamledar was expelled from MGP speaking the truth and exposing the wrong doings of Dhavalikar brothers. He was expelled for blocking the Dhavslikar brothers from taking total control of the party.

“The MGP was founded by first Chief Minister Bhahusaheb Bandodkar to protect interests of Bahujans; but it is no longer the party of Bahujans. It has become the private property of Dhavalikar brothers. I have been repeatedly saying this since past many years,” Gaude said.

“Those Bahujans working for MGP should not become slaves of Dhavalikar brothers. Mamledar was making efforts to strengthen the party, but the Dhavalikar brothers don’t want the party to grow. Today it is Mamledar’s turn and tomorrow it will be the turn of another Bahujan leader,” he said.

He said that to save the MGP, the Bahujans should expel the Dhavalikar brothers from the party.

A former MGP office bearer said that Mamledar has not done any illegality or activities against party. Instead, he spoke the truth. “Party General Secretary is given lot of powers in the Party constitution. It is not easy to remove him. The Dhavalikar brothers want a monopoly and full control over the, hence they expelled Mamledar,” he said.
