CM warns his Cabinet colleagues for outsourcing services available with HRC
Says HRC formed to provide jobs and jobs security to Goans; Pramod Sawant noted that power dept outsourced house-keeping and security
Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Friday directed his Cabinet colleagues not to outsource their department services like house-keeping and securities, which are available with the government-formed Human Resource Corporation (HRC).
“HRC is formed to provide jobs and also job security to Goans. No department should outsource the services available with the corporation,” Parsekar said announcing that HRC will generate nearly 10,000 jobs for Goans. “I appeal to all the departments to revive the services that are outsourced and provide jobs through HRC,” he said.
The issue was brought to the notice of the State Legislative Assembly by BJP MLA Pramod Sawant, who pointed out that the power department has outsourced their services of house-keeping and security.
