PANJIM: Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the State, the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) has extended the date for online BEd 2021-23 admissions till June 2 from May 19.
“Due to the various restrictions imposed in the State of Goa in view of prevailing pandemic situation, the dates of online BEd 2021-23 admissions are extended,” Director of Higher Education Prasad Lolayekar said.
The last date for submission of online payment of Rs 300 towards prospectus charges is extended from May 17 to May 31.
Similarly, the online application forms can be submitted till June 2 as against earlier date of May 19.
The candidates will have to submit the print copy of the admission form along with required certificates by June 11.
The DHE has last month announced common admission procedure for BEd programme for the academic year 2021-23 at Nirmala Institute of Education, Panjim, GVMs College of Education, Ponda and PES College of Education, Ponda. These three institutions are designated as the coordinating units for the admission procedure.
Only those students with a valid rank at the GU-ART held in March, conducted by Goa University, are eligible to apply for the admission.
