PANJIM: The BJP’s State Unit’s executive commitee meeting on April 21 and will have a session to discuss the party’s poor performance at the 2017 polls and strategy to strengthen its base in every constituency ahead of the panchayats elections in May.

PANJIM: The BJP’s State Unit’s executive commitee meeting on April 21 and will have a session to discuss the party’s poor performance at the 2017 polls and strategy to strengthen its base in every constituency ahead of the panchayats elections in May.

“No political agenda is scheduled for discussion. We have chalked out various issues for discussion. The main agenda of the meeting will be to decide on various events to commemorate the birth centenary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, in the State,” BJP president Vinay Tendulkar.

With party MLAs and ministers attending the conclave, it is learnt that improving BJP’s connect with workers and the general public will be discussed. BJP’s tally in the polls slipped to 13 this election from 21 seats it had won in 2012 elections.
