BICHOLIM: A body of 30-year-old labour contractor from West Bengal was found in the bushes at Navelim-Sanquelim, on Saturday.
According to the available information, the body of labour contractor, Jamedar Rehman, native of West Bengal, but presently residing at Sanquelim in Bicholim taluka was found cut in three pieces in the bushes at one of the isolated area near Mohit Ispat Factory at Navelim. Police have suspected this as the case of murder.
The deceased had gone missing since September 15 and a missing complaint in this regard was lodged by his brother at Sanquelim Police Outpost the next day.
On Saturday, when police got information about the body, they rushed to the spot and conducted panchanama. After the panchanama the body has been kept at the morgue.
