Vasco: A truck laden with cement bricks fell on its side near the newly inaugurated grade separator near Shantinagar on Saturday.
The driver escaped with minor injuries.
According to available information, a major accident was averted after a truck transporting cement bricks on reaching the sharp curve of the grade separator at Shantinagar fell on its side.
Sources informed that there was a minor damage to the retaining side wall of the grade separator and some bricks landed on the road following the mishap.
Fortunately, truck driver escaped with minor injuries. Efforts were on to remove the truck from the site till late evening, sources added.
