PORVORIM: Taking a long-term view on development of water resources, the State Government has drafted a Master Plan for development of four rivers till the year 2050, Minister for Water Resources Department (WRD) Vinod Palyekar said on Tuesday. Minister also said that government has also constituted Task Force to identify the areas and suggest measures to improve the irrigation and agriculture yield in the State.
Minister informed that a master plan for 4 major rivers - Mhadei, Zuari, Talpona, Galjibaga -- has been prepared, under which various schemes have been proposed for improving the supply of water.
