VASCO: Thieves struck the residence of Bibijaan Gawari near the Maruti Temple at Mangor on Saturday afternoon, making off with goods and cash valued at approximately Rs 2.5 lakh. The daring burglary has sent shockwaves through the community, with residents and authorities alike on high alert.
According to the homeowner, the stolen items include three gold chains, a valuable watch, and around Rs 20,000 in cash. The perpetrators executed a well-planned entry by accessing the property through the roofing tiles on the ceiling, indicating a calculated and premeditated act, said the police.
In response, the Vasco Police has started an investigation to apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen property. Residents in the area have been urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
